This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application "Deepak Jewellery" ("App"), developed and maintained by Ekoders Software ("we", "us", or "our") for use by end customers of registered jewellery merchants ("Jeweller").

We are committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring transparency regarding the collection and use of personal data.

1. Who We Are
	Ekoders Software provides the technical platform for jewellery businesses. The App enables end customers to manage chit schemes, make installment payments, view gold rates, and place orders with their registered jeweller. Ekoders Software acts as a technology service provider, and the respective jeweller is responsible for customer account management.

2. Data We Collect
Personal Information
	Full name
	Mobile number
	Email address
	Address
Note : The above information is provided and updated directly by the end customer within the App and is securely synchronized with the registered jeweller's POS system for account management and billing purposes.

Transactional Data

	Chit and installment payment details
	Transaction status and reference IDs
	Orders placed via the App
	
Device & Technical Data
	Basic technical logs required for app functionality and error resolution
	(No advertising or cross-app analytics are performed)

Payment Information
	Payment method type (e.g., UPI, card)
	Transaction reference ID and status
	Note: Sensitive payment details such as card numbers, CVV, or UPI credentials are not accessed or stored by the App. All payments are securely processed by Razorpay.

3. Purpose of Data Collection
	Data is collected solely to:
	Register and manage chit schemes
	Process and record installment payments
	Display transaction history
	Notify users about payment status
	Resolve technical or payment-related issues
	Comply with applicable legal obligations

4. Account Deletion
    Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time by contacting their registered jeweller or by visiting the shop directly.
    Once the jeweller verifies the request and processes it in their POS system:
        The user's personal profile, chit records, and transaction history will be permanently deleted from the jeweller's POS system.
        The App will automatically disable access for the deleted account and the user will no longer be able to log in or view any data in the app.

5. Sharing of Information
	We do not sell or rent personal data.
	Data may be shared only with:
	Payment Gateway (Razorpay) – for secure payment processing
	Registered Jeweller – to manage customer accounts and billing
	Legal Authorities – if required by law

6. Refunds and Payment Failures
	Refunds, if applicable, are handled directly by the registered jeweller according to their business policies. The App does not hold or transfer funds. For payment-related issues, the jeweller may coordinate directly with Razorpay.

7. Data Security
	We implement appropriate security measures, including:
	HTTPS encryption
	Secure payment redirection
	Role-based access controls
	Secure database handling where applicable

8. Third-Party Services
	The App uses third-party services such as Razorpay. Their respective privacy policies govern their services.

9. User Rights
	Users may request to:
	Access their stored data
	Correct inaccurate information
	Request deletion of data (subject to jeweller obligations and legal requirements)

10. Children's Privacy
	This App is intended for users 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Policy Updates
	This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be communicated within the App where appropriate.
